who are two people thaT can sign your time card?(your mentor and the additional person)

MS.MANALI SHAH sing my time card most of the time, and when she is not there or if she is in a metting ms.EVELIN as my mentor sign it.

what is your schedule?(what day do you work and for how long each day?)

i work mon-thours for 3 hrs each day but some times i stay longer to help around..

when do you arrive at home?

I arrive home at 5:30 or 5:15 pm. when tha train does not take for ever..

how long does it take me to get to my intership?

it takes me 1hr from school..

when do i leave school?

I leave school at 11:50 am or 11:45 after school lunch.

what were some of the highlights of the first week?(memorable moments,cool things...)

Well there's not too much to highligh.. nothing cool had happened to me yet... but i keep metting new people everyday and they are very nice..i also meet new kids fron differents parts of the wolrd and most of them speek spanish, well somethings cool happen to me every now and then like the other day the other day i meet a speech pathologist whos very nice and she is looking forward to show me all the things she does with the pacients and how differents things that involve the career.

What have i done so far?

I have organised the kids area, i have take care of different kids, sent faxe's, brought x-rays to secretaries, gave out toys, sent mails and other kinds documents to different offices most of the things that i look for are the charts were all the pacients information is such as when was they last time on had a ipoitment and what was done to the patients charts seens to be very easy but they not because they are numered so they give a list with all the charts wanted those you have are the ones you have to look for they are 7 digits but you need the last 4 digits but iam not finish yet the 3 digit does not count after that you put it on a car and organised on alfabetical order if you do not organise it some one be mad at you...

Wht hapened the first day ?

The first day i was very early.. i got kind of lost on the hospital but at the end i found the office..my mentor show the area in that case i wont get lose again..lol.. she also introduce me to the personal.. almost every body..and keep showing me around..then i start to talk with the kids around...

MY mentor's name is MINALY SHAH..
i have to say she's an exelent mentor,she let me opinate and give new ideas almost in everything she also ask me if i have questiosn she make sure that i understant evrything shealso ask me how my day was if theres something else that i want to do..also ask meabout school and my day..

I am very happy i have her as my mentor i have learn many thing from her so far..

where is it?

is on the 1st avenue 18th street mahattan, is on NYU HOSPITAL FOR JOINT DESEASES..

what kind of business is it and what kind work do i do on my intership?

is a hospital that deal's with joint desease's..many kids from all over the world go ther to have serjury in most of the cases, they also have old pacients not old kids but on the area that i work i just see kids.I help to tranlate to the pacients that don't speek english just spanish, i also help little kids that are on the waitting roon so that they won't be bored and i play with then so far i have made new friend, i look for chats,x-rays and i cornfirm the apointments of the pacients so that they wont forgot that they have an apointment.i try to keep everything organise when i live..

what is it?

my internship is in NYU HOSPITAL FOR JOINT DESEAS,they help kids that have dilocations and others bone's problens, most of the time the pacients are born with it..is really sad to see little kids pasiing throw that becuse they very jon..
